Limited services available at Kennebunk Service Plaza (Northbound) during overnight Wednesday, March 1
Closure needed for updates to electrical system inside plaza
KENNEBUNK, Maine - Beginning at 11:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1, the northbound Kennebunk Service Plaza building will be closed for updates to the plaza electrical system. The shutdown is expected to last approximately four to six hours. During the shutdown, crews will expand the existing power capacity inside the building needed for the conversion from Starbucks to Dunkin' that is scheduled to open this spring. Fuel services and porta-potties will be available during this time. There will be no food services available. The same work will occur at Kennebunk Southbound, likely to be scheduled for next week. Work is weather dependent.
