Turnpike Cancels Morning Traffic Stops in Lewiston

Utility work is rescheduled for Monday morning, January 28 

PORTLAND, Maine – Due to the potential for inclement weather as a result of snow in the forecast, the Maine Turnpike Authority is cancelling the planned intermittent traffic stops of up to 20 minutes scheduled for Tuesday between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. The work has been rescheduled for Monday, January 28 between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Turnpike travelers can get up-to-date travel alerts and information at, by tuning Highway Advisory Radio at 1610AM and by following the Maine Turnpike Authority on Twitter or Facebook. These resources alert motorists to important information including delays and closures due to accidents or weather.
