At the request of the Maine State Police, speed limits on the Maine Turnpike from New Hampshire line (Mile 0) to Exit 53 in Falmouth have been reduced to 45 MPH due to snow. Motorists on the Turnpike are asked drive safely, and stay tuned to broadcasts on 1610 AM for the most up to date information. This message will be updated as conditions change.
Additional Information
Overlimits are prohibted until speeds are restored to posted normal.

Motorists on the Turnpike are asked drive safely, and stay tuned to broadcasts on 1610 AM for the most up to date information. This message will be updated as conditions change.

Speeds are now reduced from Kittery to New Gloucester Toll/Mile 67. Overlimits are prohibted until speeds are restored to posted normal.

Motorists on the Turnpike are asked drive safely, and stay tuned to broadcasts on 1610 AM for the most up to date information. This message will be updated as conditions change.

Motorists traveling southbound on the Maine Turnpike are being advised of a motor vehicle crash. The crash occurred between Exit 63 in Gray and Exit 53 in Falmouth. Motorists should expect moderate delays between Exit 63 in Gray and Exit 53 in Falmouth. Please use caution and stay alert while traveling through this area. This message will be updated as conditions change.
Additional Information
Crash at mile 62 south, left lane is blocked. Expect delays.

Tolls

The Maine Turnpike is operated and maintained with revenue generated primarily from tolls.  A small portion of its revenue comes from the lease payments of Turnpike Service Plaza facilities.  No federal or state tax dollars are used on the Maine Turnpike.

The Maine Turnpike accepts only cash or E-ZPass as methods of payment for tolls.
