High-Speed Lane Closures Overnight Next Week in New Gloucester

No travel delays expected

PORTLAND, Maine – The E-ZPass only high-speed toll lanes will be closed in both directions for several nights next week between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., starting Tuesday, May 28. The temporary closures are necessary to allow crews to safely complete pavement work and are scheduled at night to minimize impact to traffic. Crews will also close off adjacent median openings used for project testing.

The Turnpike Authority reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit approaching work zones. No travel delays are expected as a result of the lane closures.
