Maine Turnpike complete list of scheduled traffic interruptions for week of November 3rd

Interruptions include mainline stoppages, overnight ramp and local road closures

Mile 8 York
Intermittent trooper-assisted traffic stops are scheduled north and southbound in the area of mile 8 in York for blasting due to construction on the new York Toll Plaza.  These traffic stops will take place between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM daily, Monday, November 4 through Thursday, November 7.
 
Exit 45 South Portland
The Exit 45 Southbound Off Ramp in South Portland will be closed between the hours of 9 PM and 5 AM nightly, November 5 through November 7. There will also be intermittent traffic stops on this ramp on Sunday, November 3 from 9 PM and 1 AM.
 
Exit 52 Falmouth
The Exit 52 Southbound On Ramp in Falmouth will be closed between the hours of 8 PM on Tuesday, November 5 and 5 AM on Wednesday, November 6 for pavement repairs. 
 
 
 
Local Roads
Congress Street Bridge, Portland – On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, the section of Congress Street between Johnson Road and Skyway Drive will be closed. 

Westbrook Street Bridge, Portland – On Tuesday, November 5, and Wednesday, November 6, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, Westbrook Street will be a down to a single lane of traffic in the vicinity of the bridge. Traffic will be alternated through the work zone with the use of a flagger.

Holmes Road Bridge, Scarborough – On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, the section of Holmes Road between Payne Road and Two Rod Road will be closed.
 

All work is weather permitting.
