At the request of the Maine State Police, speed limits on the Maine Turnpike from New Hampshire Line (Mile 0) to Exit 53 in Falmouth have been reduced to 45 MPH due to snow. Motorists on the Turnpike are asked drive safely, and stay tuned to broadcasts on 1610 AM for the most up to date information. This message will be updated as conditions change.

Motorists on the Turnpike are asked drive safely, and stay tuned to broadcasts on 1610 AM for the most up to date information. This message will be updated as conditions change.

Additional Information:
Speeds are now reduced the entire length of the Maine Turnpike. Travel with caution.

Project Scope: The work consists of rehabilitation of the Blackstrap Road superstructure over the Maine Turnpike in the Town of Falmouth. The work includes concrete deck replacement, raising the bridge to increase the under clearance over the Turnpike, concrete substructure modifications, repairs and approach work.

Project Scope: The work consists of rehabilitation of the Exit 52 Interchange bridge superstructure over the Maine Turnpike in the Town of Falmouth. The work includes replacement of the bridge railings, raising the bridge to increase the under clearance over the Turnpike, concrete substructure modifications, repairs and approach work.
