WEEKLY LANE CLOSURE UPDATE
Week of March 7, 2010
(The weekly travel forecast is intended to provide construction information to patrons of the Maine Turnpike. This schedule of lane closures is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents or other unanticipated events.)
Sunday March 7, 2010
Daytime activities:
At Exit 52 in Falmouth on the Falmouth Spur major bridge rehabilitation is being conducted. One lane east and westbound will remain open through completion of the project in November of 2010. 35 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
At mile 81.4 in Lewiston north and southbound lane closures scheduled from 6am to 6pm at the Rte 196 Bridge for bridge work. One lane will remain open in each direction through completion of the project in July, 2011. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
Nighttime activities:

Between miles 7 in York and 19 in Wells northbound rolling lane closures are scheduled from 7am to 3pm for pavement repair.

At mile 75 in Auburn a northbound lane closure is scheduled from 7:30am to 3pm for median work.
At mile 81.4 in Lewiston north and southbound lane closures scheduled from 6am to 6pm at the Rte 196 Bridge for bridge work. One lane will remain open in each direction through completion of the project in July, 2011. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
At mile 88.5 in Sabattus a southbound lane closure is scheduled from 7:30am to 3pm for shoulder work.
