Turnpike Suspends Construction Projects For Holiday Weekend
Urges caution and awareness while driving
PORTLAND, Maine – The Maine Turnpike Authority has suspended highway construction work for the July 4th holiday weekend. Turnpike officials, however, urge travelers to observe posted speed limits, maintain proper distance between vehicles, avoid distracted driving and be alert for signs and traffic shifts when traveling through dormant construction zones.
