Nighttime Traffic Stoppages in Kittery on Tuesday, May 9, 2017

Stoppages in both directions of up to 30 minutes at a time
 

PORTLAND, Maine –  On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, nighttime stoppages will occur on the mainline from the Maine/New Hampshire border to Exit 2 in Kittery for the removal of high mast light poles adjacent to the highway.  Multiple stoppages will occur between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for a duration of up to 30 minutes at a time.  Traffic will be stopped in both directions as a safety precaution for motorists.   Motorists should expect delays and use caution in this area. 
 
The schedule of this work is subject to change if there is inclement weather.   Check the Maine Turnpike Authority’s website, Facebook and twitter for any changes.
