Night Work to Close Falmouth Spur (Exit 52) Southbound Ramps 12/2

Closures necessary for repair work on Tuesday night (12/2)

PORTLAND, Maine –  Tuesday, December 2, 2014, the southbound on and off ramps of the Falmouth Spur (Exit 52) will be closed overnight for repairs.  The closures are scheduled to begin Tuesday evening at 10:00 PM and last until 5:00 AM Wednesday.  Ramps will be open to traffic during the day.  Northbound ramps will not be impacted and will remain open at all times.

The work is being completed at night in an effort to minimize traffic impact.  The MTA advises drivers to allow additional time to reach their destination by alternate routes.  All work is weather dependent.  Wednesday evening, December 3, 2014 is scheduled as a potential rain date if the work is not completed Tuesday night.

Motorists are encouraged to visit smartphone friendly MaineTurnpike.com for up-to-the-minute travel alerts or sign-up to receive them by e-mail.
