Motorists advised to expect delays or seek alternate routes

PORTLAND, Maine – The Maine Turnpike Authority will conduct intermittent highway traffic stops of up to 25-minutes in both directions at mile 70.8 in New Gloucester during overnight hours, Monday, July 8, and Tuesday, July 9, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The stops are necessary for crews to safely remove structural steel from the Snow Hill Road Bridge over the Turnpike.
