Early Morning Traffic Stops Monday in Lewiston

Twenty minute stoppages planned for utility line relocation at mile 80.5

PORTLAND, Maine – The Maine Turnpike Authority will conduct intermittent northbound and southbound traffic stops of up to 20 minutes at mile 80.5 in Lewiston between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28. The traffic stops are needed to relocate utility lines without jeopardizing motorist and worker safety. The work area is two-tenths of a mile north of Exit 80 in Lewiston
The work is weather sensitive and may be delayed or rescheduled. Motorists should be prepared for trip delays or seek alternate travel routes.
